Heading in to Summer

Social media boards are talking about summer reading lists. That’s one of the things I think is so great about a Kindle; you can go on vacation, or to the beach, or even out in your backyard and carry thousands of books with you for leisure reading.  I’ve got 35 books to add to your Kindle and your summer reading list. That should keep you busy all summer. I call it…. “the summer of https://kathrynbouseleveque.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/lord-despair-high-res-scaled-1.jpg”… hahahahaha… has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

I get this question a lot – do I read, too, or do I just write? I do read, but not as much as I used to. No time! I’ve got voracious readers out there demanding new books constantly (they know who they are!), so I’m very busy keeping my readers happy. It’s the best job in the world!  But as for what I like to read, I have some favorite authors. Clive Cussler is one – I just downloaded his latest, SERPENT.  He is the man who taught me how to write a good adventure.  I also like Bernard Cornwell.  A MASTER of Historical fiction.  Virginia Henley is another favorite.  If you haven’t tried any of these authors yet, do so. I think you’ll really like them.

On to summer reading (and writing!!)
