Haven’t read LORD OF THE SHADOWS? It’s one of my favorite books with one of my all-time favorite heroes in Sean de Lara. Originally, Sean was meant to die at the end. He just was. Sometimes that’s what a story dictates and I just go with it, but knowing how readers would react to a dead hero, I amended it slightly.
