I always tell you how much fun I have when I write these books, but in this case, it really happens to be true. I’ve gotten so attached to the mom and dad of the Highland Legion – Mabel and Lares – that every time I write about them, I giggle the entire way through it. Mabel has some great scenes in this story!
We also get to meet some of the dun Tarh brothers we haven’t seen a lot of – Caelus and Lucan, to name a couple (with eight brothers, not everybody can have a spotlight on them all the time), so it’s fun to develop them a little more. They’ll have their own books someday, after all!
What can I tell you about this book that I haven’t already told you? Nothing – except there are some very interesting concepts and storylines in it that you haven’t seen before, so this one is very unique. Estevan and Anaxandra are quite a pair and I think you’re going to fall in love with them – I hope so, anyway.
