What fun I had writing this book! Of course, I always love to return to the de Wolfe Pack. It’s like visiting old friends. This story, however, is set a little differently than other de Wolfe Pack Generations tales.
Our hero, Leonidas de Wolfe, is the eldest son of Edward (BlackWolfe) de Wolfe and Cassiopeia de Norville. He has both de Wolfe and de Norville blood in him, rare amount our de Wolfe Pack Gen boys. There are only a few that have these bloodlines (Will de Wolfe, Tor de Wolfe, Andreas de Wolfe) and I’m not counting the de Wolfe sisters who married de Norville brothers (that would be Evelyn and Hector and their lunatic sons Atreus and Hermes). In any case, Leonidas was born well after most of the de Wolfe Pack stories have been told – he is the oldest son of Eddie and Cassiopeia, but the fifth born child, so his story takes place smack in the middle of the Dragonblade series years – the early years of Edward III when he was trying to stay alive because Roger Mortimer coveted the throne. And that’s where we start!
I don’t want to give it all away here, but let’s just say our Dragonblade boys make an appearance (Tate de Lara, Stephen of Pembury, Kenneth St. Hever) and this is both a tragic and poignant story. Our heroine, Christelle de Lorrain, is a female bodyguard to Phillipa of Hainault and she is quite dedicated to her queen… or is she?? You’re going to have to read the book to find out, so without further ado, grab your copy of WolfeBite – you’re in for a treat!
