All Good Questions…

I’ve been getting a lot of questions on my Facebook fan page recently. If you haven’t found me on facebook, here’s the link:

Find me and ‘like’ me.  Lots of activity there to keep you updated on what’s going on with me on a daily basis.

Anyway, I’ve had some really good questions lately.  Here are a few and their respective answers:

1.  Are all of your knights English?

Answer:  Except for Irish-born Kirk Connaught in The Darkland, all of my knights ARE English.  Tate de Lara is half-Welsh, but for the most part, everyone is English.  Right now, the historical romance genre is overrun with highlanders, so I’m sticking with the good old English. Well, I suppose techinically some are Normans, but we’re going to call them English for the sake of ease.  I tend to lean more towards the Welsh and Irish for other nationalities more than the Scots because of the glut of Scotsmen out there. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but my tastes run more south of Hadrian’s Wall….

2.  Is there sex and fight scenes in all of your books.

Answer. Hell yes! Next??

3.  Are your books paranormal?

Answer:  The historical romances are not. They are rooted in reality, although I do have a Medieval knight ghost-hunter series planned.  The title of that series is called “Slayer” and the kick-off novel is slated for a 2015 release.  It ought to be a good one!  Now, that being said, I do have a few of the contemporary romances that have ghostly elements in them – Fires of Autumn and Purgatory, and Evenshade, when it is published around Halloween, will be a good old fashioned ghost story.   These are all part of the American Heroes series.

I truly love questions from readers because, in a way, it lets me know what people are looking for sometimes in their reading material and I can plan future novels accordingly.  So keep the questions coming!
