I'm so thrilled to announce my holiday collaboration (one of them!) with some of my very favorite authors - Jennifer Ashley, Tanya Anne Crosby, Kerrigan Byrne, Eliza Knight, and Darcy Burke. A Very Highland Christmas collection is six never-before published stories that you're absolutely going to love!  Here's the setting: It's Christmas Eve 1747 and the highlands are snowy. In the village of Calvine, north of Tay Forest along a road that leads straight into Inverness, and the only tavern in town is packed to the rafters with travelers. Eight months after the disastrous defeat at Culloden, the people haven't recovered, nor has the land, and it's a bad winter. But inside the tavern known as Balthazar's Inn, the magic that is Christmas is about to happen. A blustery innkeeper, his sensitive daughter, and a cast of characters passing through the careworn, ancient tavern will bring you six captivating stories of reflection, joy, and enthrallment that is the very spirit of the holiday season. Coming October 27, 2020, so make sure to reserve your copy! Amazon https://bit.ly/AVHC2020 Nook https://bit.ly/NookAVHC20 Apple https://bit.ly/AVHC20 Kobo: https://bit.ly/KoboAVHC20

Book 2 in my Scots and Swords series with Sourcebooks Casablanca, HIGHLAND DEFENDER, is finally available for pre-order, and what a book it is!! The entire series is something different from what I usually do, but the men in it - the Highlanders - are just like my English knights. Strong, sexy, totally swoonworthy in so many ways. I'm particularly proud of Highland Defender because it's, frankly, one of the best stories I've ever written. There's so much humor in it along with a fabulous love story, and I'm building a massive, exciting world within the Universe of the Ludus Caledonia, the premier Medieval fight club in Edinburgh. What a great place this is with great characters - so much to love. You're absolutely going to love this world and the people in it. Here's the description of HIGHLAND DEFENDER: Gladiator meets Fight Club in the Scottish Highlands in a new series from USA Today bestselling author https://kathrynbouseleveque.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/lord-despair-high-res-scaled-1.jpg Le Veque Ashamed of a choice that cost good men their lives during battle, Bane Morgan escapes to Edinburgh to forget his past. But the more time he spends away from his Highland home, the more he's filled with regret and despair. Lucia Symington knows something…

WINTER OF SOLACE is LIVE in Kindle Unlimited! The 5 star reviews are pouring in and I am SO happy and grateful that everyone seems to love Cai and Emelisse's story! Now, it's in KU, so go forth and READ! https://amzn.to/2ByE0sq

The long wait is over! Caius d'Avignon has quite a story, so make sure you get your copy before the price goes up on Sunday 6/7. This is a complex tale - lots of things going on - but I just know you're going to love it!! When Caius d’Avignon is sent north at the request of a cousin of William Marshal to help in a dispute between neighbors, Caius couldn’t have imagined how his life would change. Caius is one of the Marshal’s premier knights, a man who served in The Levant with many of the Marshal’s agents, but he had one distinct difference – he’d been branded The Britannia Viper by the Saracen commanders for his hard strike. There is no one fiercer in battle. Therefore, William Marshal has great confidence that Caius will solve the situation – if not by diplomacy, then by the sword. But Caius is caught off-guard by the situation when he arrives. The Marshal’s cousin is an unscrupulous and cruel man who has all but decimated his neighbors and demands they be destroyed. When Caius goes to speak to the neighbors to demand their unconditional surrender, the first thing he sees…

I've got two big, new bundles out right now!   I know there are crazy things going on in the world and I want to provide you with a little respite - lots and lots of reading material.   Bundles are great for two reasons - binge reading, of course, but also if you're a new reader to me, you can get four or more of my books in one place, always for a super-low price.    Of course, if you're already a reader, always check out these bundles to make sure you have all of the books - if you don't, then picking up the bundle for the one book you don't have is always a great deal!   If you're a KU reader, you can do me a favor - read it in KU! These bundles are designed for Kindle Unlimited readers. If you still want to buy it, then buy it, too, but reading these bundles in KU is better for me, as an author, so read in KU first and THEN buy if you still want to. Either way, it's a great deal because these bundles are ONLY .99 cents!   Now, on to the bundles!   England's Greatest Knights:   Welcome to the world of England’s Greatest Knights.…

Surprise! WolfeStrike is up for pre-order!!   It’s a new generation of de Wolfe Pack cubs, carrying on the tradition of their illustrious grandfather. Thomas “Tor” de Wolfe has his hands full with battling women and battling enemies as he tries to secure a border castle for Edward I. Chaos is the name of the game! (If you're wondering who Tor is, that's Scott de Wolfe's second son - the one we met briefly in ShadowWolfe. Older brother, Will, is married to Christopher de Lohr's granddaughter). Tor married, and lost, his wife at a young age. Because his wife was an orphan, he inherited her two sisters when they wed and when she died, they became his responsibility. Unfortunately, the two spinster sisters view Tor as their property. When Tor meets the worldly Isalyn de Tuberville, he is smitten. Isalyn, however, is not. Tor is big and handsome, but lives too much of a provincial life. She wants big cities, excitement, money, and no baggage of a dead wife. Isalyn’s father, however, feels differently – and Isalyn finds herself betrothed to the gentle de Wolfe giant. The spinsters have a new target. Let the battles begin!…

Vote, vote, vote for THE BEST IS YET TO BE in Ind'Tales RONE voting round this week!   If you loved THE BEST IS YET TO BE , then consider giving Paris and Jemma your vote as Best Historical Novella. Hope you and yours are staying safe and sane during this difficult time. I think I've mentioned in previous posts that my husband and I moved during this period. Our new house closed escrow the day the State of California went into quarantine, so to say this has been a stressful time for us isn't exaggerating. It's been nuts! So, just a quick reminder of a few things -  Winter of Solace is coming June 4, 2020, about a week later from its original release date. Because of our move, and the chaos of the quarantine, I needed a little extra time to finish it, but it's a hell of a book. I am just so proud of it. Make sure you reserve your copy - it'll be here in about 3 weeks. Amazon: http://bit.ly/Winterofsolace Nook: http://bit.ly/WinterofSolaceNook Apple: http://bit.ly/WinterofSolaceApple Kobo: http://bit.ly/WinterofSolaceKobo Also remember that I have a ton of .99 cent bundles and sales - and ALL of them are available in Kindle Unlimited, so read everything for FREE there!
