Boxed sets, as always, serve several purposes. They’re economical, for one. For another, they cater to the binge reader in all of us – in this case, several titles all in one spot with ‘dark’ in them. I have two main series with ‘dark’ as part of the series title – The Dark One: Dark Knight (de Russe) is one – and all of his sons have “Dark XXX” as the title, and then The Dark Lord (de Velt) also has that in the title, but all of his sons have titles that start with “The Dark XXX”. Slight difference.
Now, this set – in an order never before published or grouped – has several ‘dark’ titles in one convenient set!
