Insurrection is HERE!! Grab your copy of my latest and greatest in the new Guard of Six series!!
Epic Medieval Romance on a grand scale as sworn enemies live and love… with explosive secrets to be revealed! Kent de Poyer is part of the powerful Norman de Poyer family from Netherworld Castle. He was raised on the Welsh marches, a knight who has been at the forefront of Welsh rebellion against the English. Therefore, it’s little wonder when Henry sends Kent to the Welsh marches because of some trouble between an English family and a local Welsh warlord that threatens to ignite the entire border into a blaze of battle. Kent and the Guard of Six head to Wales. Madelaina ferch Bryn is the daughter of the apothecary from the village of Penderyn. The mighty castle known as The Narth anchors her peaceful valley and when the English sack the castle, it’s a valley of apprehension. The Welsh warlord has fled, helped by the villagers, and Kent poses as a Welsh traveler to discover the whereabouts of the warlord, he finds himself in the dark world of a spy game. One that involved the sweet…

The second book in the Guard of Six series is going to be here before you know it - May 13th!
This has been an interesting series so far, mostly because there's a different dynamic with the Guard of Six than other series I write. You know how much I love the 'band of brothers' thing, with the men very loyal to one another. Camaraderie is important in all of my series - some more than others. With the Guard of Six, they're not linked by blood or family. They're linked by secrets and backgrounds that aren't maybe the best. They understand how brutal life can be and they don't have strong family ties, so in essence, they 'are' each other's family.
Insurrection deals with a very old friendship between Kent de Poyer and a guy who is considered the enemy. It's innocent when he was a child, but becomes a problem when he's an adult. This book was also surprising because there are a couple of really strong secondary plots in it, storylines that became a lot of fun for me to explore. All this to say make sure you have your copy reserved - or read it in Kindle Unlimited…
Surprise! June's pre order is HERE!
I'm so excited for THE TEMPEST! This is Payne Matheson's story - that loveable Scotsman who is always talking about his mother. That's been a running joke in the books and in Payne's tale, we're actually going to get to meet his mother - and what a mother she is! Hilarious!
The Blackchurch Guild has turned out to be one of my very favorite series. I just love the diversity of the characters, in background and in birth, and it really make Blackchurch a rich place, indeed. I hope you think so, too, so make sure to reserve your copy of THE TEMPEST. Coming June 20, 2025!

The Lords of de Royans series is one of my favorites. One of my all-time favorite books is To The Lady Born, one I wrote a very long time ago and was, in fact, the first book I ever published on Amazon. It's a milestone book and it's FREE for the next few days!
Right now, I've got a wonderful sale going for the next five days with the entire de Royans series, including another FREE book, The Centurion. Another book I wrote a very long time ago and one that is a reader favorite!
Stock up on this series or read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited!

Love the big, big books I've written in the past? I'm talking Rise of the Defender, The Wolfe, etc. Those BIG books. I was looking at Rise of the Defender the other day and realized is about eight times bigger than a 'normal' size novel. But that's how I like to write 'em when I have the time!
That being said, Lion of Thunder is coming out March 21st and it's a big one. Not as big as Rise of the Defender, but it's the biggest book I've written in a few years. One of those sagas you can just get lost in. It's such an important book because it closes out the Sons of de Lohr series - the sons of Christopher and Dustin - and it has an ending you can't miss. Absolutely can't miss. Sometimes things have to come full circle and this is one of those times, so you're going to want to make sure you read this in Kindle Unlimited, or purchase a copy, or both. However it works for you, make sure you've got your copy because it's a pivotal moment for the de Lohr Dynasty.
I really love the uniqueness of Westley de Lohr. As…

Lies, secrets, and betrayal abound in Scotland in this passionate tale of true love! Darien, the second son of Lares dun Tarh, finds himself betrothed to a wealthy lass from a good Scottish family. He’s not particularly eager to marry, but he’s not particularly opposed to it, either. His new bride, a high-strung and vain woman, is insulted by his apathy, leaving a crack in the relationship between her family and his. Emelia Moriston is a troublemaker and always has been, but not as much as she is when she realizes Darien isn’t falling at her feet. Not that it matters, because she doesn’t want him, anyway.
