2014 is coming in with a bang! THE WOLFE is still #1 on Amazon's Hot New Release list and #2 on the Best Seller list. The $1.99 price will continue through January 4, so get your copy while you can.  Better still, the audiobook for THE WOLFE will be available mid-January!   It's a very long audiobook, so it's something to keep you interested and occupied while you drive, work out, or just relax. I'll post the link when it's finally available! Also, UNENDING LOVE is a Kindle Countdown Deal for .99 cents starting tomorrow.  This is one of my all-time favorite novels and definitely one of my favorite heroes, so if you haven't read this novel, it's a MUST.  I love, love, love this book - lots of fighting and LOTS of romance!! And, of course, LORD OF LIGHT will be released January 4! If you haven't ordered yours yet, do so right away so it'll be on your Kindle the moment it's released! This is a very unique and exciting tale.  I hope you'll love it! Happy New Year to all and a very prosperous 2014!!

The past two days has seen a ton of action for THE WOLFE, the giant epic novel that is clearly a fan favorite. So far, it's spent 2 days at #1 on Amazon's Top 100 Hot New Releases and #1 on Amazon's Best Sellers in Medieval Historical Fiction.  And why not? It's a truly wonderful book about life and love - action packed, full of humor and passion - so you can't go wrong. A 4.7 out of 5 star rating and almost 100 5 star reviews says so.  It's a great book - and for $1.99, it's a steal! Make sure to get your copy before the price goes back up in January!

As of 12/26/13, there's a lot going on - stay with me while I outline all of the sales and upcoming releases: 1.  THE LEGEND is currently only $1.99 for Kindle. This is SUCH a great book - all sorts of action and passion. It's a MUST read; 2.  FRAGMENTS OF GRACE will be a Kindle Countdown Deal starting tomorrow.  This is the first time this book has been on sale, so you absolutely must get this prequel to the DRAGONBLADE TRILOGY. Must, must, must. It's a great Medieval Romance that leans heavily to the Tragedy genre, but well worth the read. Get a box of Kleenex handy. 3.  LORD OF LIGHT is available for pre-sale.  Early feedback from the Beta readers (the test-pilots for any novel before it goes on sale) is super-positive. Everyone loves it; it's a very different novel in that it's more a snapshot of a knight's life more than it's a series of adventures.  Be sure to pre-order it for $3.99 here: http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Light-https://kathrynbouseleveque.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/lord-despair-high-res-scaled-1.jpg-Le-Veque-ebook/dp/B00HBJJO8W/ref=zg_bsnr_7538388011_31 Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous and happy 2014!!

I love, love, love this novel. Did I mention I love it?? Seriously, this is one of those books that I read when I'm just looking to unwind. Even though I wrote it, I read it over and over. Why? Because it's a perfect storm of attributes - tragedy, dark secrets, romance, redemption, family, revenge, and a great happily ever after. The scene in the garden of the convent when he's trying to convince her to marry him is PRICELESS!! If you haven't read it, you absolutely must.  Now, it's only .99 cents, so you can't go wrong!  Get a copy!!! http://www.amazon.com/Lady-Born-https://kathrynbouseleveque.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/lord-despair-high-res-scaled-1.jpg-Veque-ebook/dp/B0084UQB1U/ref=la_B004QF87Q4_1_30?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1387555680&sr=1-30

Usually I blog about my books - in fact, that's pretty much all I ever blog about. Rarely do I blog about other things - I know some authors blog about their life, their kids, recipes, etc... but I don't. I keep my blogs purely book related because I figure that's what you're here for, right? Knights and all things Medieval! But today I'm going to blog about being thankful.  I know we all have our days when we think the whole world is out to get us - i.e., 'why me?!'.  Or we have days when we envy others - someone's new car, new house, new boyfriend/girlfriend. And we think 'why NOT me?!'.  I've done that; we all have. But here's the thing - there is always someone worse off than you. Can you pay your bills? Eat? At least shop enough to buy what you need and maybe a few things you don't? Then  you're better off than millions of other people.  You're better off than the old woman who lives in a small home or apartment, without any family, and the only human contact she gets is Meals on Wheels. Do you want to know how I know that?…

THE WHISPERING NIGHT is now on sale today and tomorrow in honor of Thanksgiving.  What's better than Medieval spying, intrigue, politics, family honor, and a cross-dressing uncle? NOTHING! Get your copy today but if you've already read it, then why not buy a copy for someone else and send it to them?? For $2.99, you can't buy a better gift than a few hours of contented reading! http://www.amazon.com/Whispering-Night-https://kathrynbouseleveque.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/lord-despair-high-res-scaled-1.jpg-Veque-ebook/dp/B008D6I52I/ref=la_B004QF87Q4_1_28?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1385395306&sr=1-28   THE CRUSADER is also on sale. Read this fabulous time-travel novel about a Medieval knight and the archaeologist who wakes him up. Modern day Sleeping Beauty! Also only $2.99!! http://www.amazon.com/Crusader-Prequel-Kingdom-Come-ebook/dp/B008K5BONE/ref=la_B004QF87Q4_1_32?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1385395306&sr=1-32   Enjoy!!

For the coming short Thanksgiving week,  two of my novels will be on sale for your down-time when you're not stuffing turkey in your face or passed out in front of the television because of too much said turkey.  Starting tomorrow, THE WHISPERING NIGHT and THE CRUSADER will both be on sale Monday and Tuesday for $2.99 each.  That's almost half off their usual price. If you haven't read either of these, they are well worth the time - you'll love them!  I'll post links tomorrow for both novels. Enjoy your short week and Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!!
