I love it when fiction and non-fiction come together. Here's a novel you may like, because I was floored by it. I was asked to read an ARC copy of this novel and review it, which I was happy to do. This isn't your ordinary Medieval novel... SINFUL FOLK is one of the most original novels I have ever read. The storyline was unlike anything I'd ever seen before and to find out it was based on real events was truly amazing.  The novel is about children dying in a mysterious fire back in the Middle Ages and how the villagers seek justice for the crime. Like Ken Follett or Bernard Cornwell, author Ned Hayes takes you into the Middle Ages so vividly that it's difficult to put the story down.  The novel is truly a work of artistic literature.  I realize that some of you only like romance, but for those of you who would like to read something truly original, like a Medieval mystery/adventure, this is a great novel and one I highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars. To be released on Amazon, and other outlets, in January. Keep an eye out for it! https://www.facebook.com/SinfulFolk?fref=ts

It's a Kindle Count Down Deal! GUARDIAN OF DARKNESS is a Kindle Countdown deal at nearly 40% off the regular price. Only $2.99!  This is a FABULOUS Medieval tale of a strong, silent knight, Creed de Reyne, and the Scots lady he's charged with watching over.  He's the ice to her fire - and neither want anything to do with each other at first, but soon enough, the sparks (the good kind) fly.  This book has everything - betrayal, an evil knight, lust, murder, battle... I think ...it gets overlooked because the big epics overshadow it, but this book is a keeper and the hero -to DIE for.  If you haven't read it, now's your chance. Check out the "Release Dates" page on my website for a newly updated list of novels coming in 2014.  The list is still being populated, but you'll want to check out what's coming.  New and exciting things including a surprise release on November 22 - check it out!

The biggest news of all for November is that LORD OF WAR: BLACK ANGEL will be an audiobook in time for Christmas!!  It will be the first of my novels to be converted to audiobook, so be prepared for the other 39 to come in 2014 and 2015.   I'm very, VERY excited about the project, as I have spent the past few months auditioning voice talent for the narration. I've settled on a wonderful British actor with a FABULOUS accent that really brings the characters to life - his voice is very sensual and strong, which is exactly what I wanted. However, I will forewarn you that I've eliminated the graphic sex in the novel because I really wanted EVERYONE to be able to listen to the book - YA through great-grandmas who really don't need to hear such graphic sexual details, so it really will be perfect for all ages.  Not to say that any of the romance has been removed, because it hasn't - it's the same romantic novel that you're familiar with.  The sex scenes(and there were only three) are 'heated' and 'implied', but not graphic.  I would feel totally comfortable letting my own kids listen to it - or my very religious grandmother!  But don't worry that…
