As always, I have a disclaimer on my RELEASE DATES page stating that things can and will change. As of today, they have. Please check in with the RELEASE DATES page to see what's up next and what's been added. Please note that the release of TENDER IS THE KNIGHT has been delayed by a few days. I'm working very hard to make sure the edits are perfect and a great new story is released for your enjoyment.
Happy Reading!
I don't do many personal appearances or signings, mostly because I'm exclusively digital (so... what? I'm gonna sign your Kindle??), so when I do make an appearance, I want to make sure everyone knows. The Hot Mojave Knights Romance readers conference is taking place October 18, 19, and 20 in lovely Henderson, NV. If you don't know where that is, it's right next door to Las Vegas. October will be a lovely month to visit and hotel rates should be good!
I will have personal time with readers as well as sitting on a panel, so this should be a lot of fun. Consider joining us. Click the Hot Mojave Knights link on my website for more details. There are quite a few quality writers attending (plus a couple of soap opera stars!), so there will be more chances for you to connect with your favorite author (me?!!!!) Lol!
Join me!
I began to get some very quick and strong reaction to my last post when discussing the 'sizes' of my heroes. Some good-naturedly unhappy readers cried because I left off their favorites so, as not to leave anyone out and to make sure everyone is happy, I will continue with the discussion of height and weight of my heroes... find yours on the list and have some sweet dreams courtesy of me! :)
To continue....

I don't think I left anyone out of this but if I did, I'm sure my readers will let me know. Details like this somehow bring these men to life even more…
You, as a reader, might be wondering what inspires me. What moves me, as it were, into writing novels that are not a typical romance. Sure, the formula to a certain extent has to be the same - boy and girl meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after, but what happens during the time they meet, fall in love, and then eventually live happily ever after is what constitutes a great read or a mediocre read. So what moves me? Simple. I write what I like to read. Anytime an author starts writing for the reader, that's when things fall apart and I'll tell you why - because each reader is different. What one reader likes, another may not. Therefore, all authors write for themselves, what they would like to read in essence. And that's exactly what I do.
Oh, I know I get flack sometimes for having massive heroes and small, pretty heroines. So you really want to read about a skinny, short hero and his Amazon leading lady? I think not. Sure, my guys are big and tall, but be honest - wouldn't you rather read about a big handsome guy than some average Joe? I would. …
Remember that all current updates and blog posts are on my website at www.kathrynleveque.com. I no longer blog on Goodreads.However, I would like to announced that I will be attending the Hot Mojave Knights Romance Readers conference in Las Vega…
Something very, very good to look forward to this month. TENDER IS THE KNIGHT is due out August 17th.
This is another one of those novels that I lost chapters to due to a faulty hard drive. There are actually several, and one novel, called ALWAYS FAITHFUL/THE PROMISE, that I lost completely. It's really sad, too, because that novel was a good one. The plot centered around a young lady who was forced to wed a powerful old lord, who happened to be gay. He wanted nothing to do with her and ordered the captain of his guard to consummate the marriage and continue sleeping with the woman until he got her pregnant. Of course, the two fell in love but there was a whole host of crap they had to deal with, not the least of which was the gay and rather bitter husband. If I get up the energy someday, I just might reconstruct it.
Anyway, I digress. Back to TENDER IS THE KNIGHT. Great story of warring families and the price of peace. Throw in an evil earl and a bad ass pirate, and we've got something going! Can't wait to release it although, as with all of my…
So much coming up! Medieval until the end of the year! Deep thanks to all of you who helped send LORD OF WAR: BLACK ANGEL into Amazon's Top 500 PAID novels. So very exciting!! Reviews are awesome! I'd like to post more but I can't right now-I got married over the weekend and we're on our honeymoon, so the groom is antsy when I get on the computer. We're traveling fast and light these days. More to follow!

Finally! I've been working on this book, off and on, for almost six months. It seemed like other projects would take precedence and I would put poor Brandt aside until I was able to get back to him, but I have finally completed the novel and it's available on Amazon for Kindle.
What do I think about it? It turned out better than I could have imagined. If you love William de Wolfe, Gaston de Russe, Christopher de Lohr, Sean de Lara and the gang, then you will ADORE Brandt de Russe. He's big, he's mean, he's powerful, and underneath it all he's got this very funny and wicked sense of humor. The novel is an adventure from start to finish, so get your copy!

Sorry, folks... I've had so much going on in my life (yes, I do have a personal life), that the publish date for LORD OF WAR: BLACK ANGEL has been moved from July 10 to July 12. I could possibly still stick to the original date, but just to be safe, I've given myself a couple of extra days as a safety net. It will be worth the wait, I promise! Stay tuned! The novel will appear on Amazon first, so start checking on Wednesday to see if, in fact, I did make the July 10th date!
Happy Reading!!
That's my post for today - short and sweet. I've been working so hard trying to make the deadline for LORD OF WAR: BLACK ANGEL that I've seemingly withdrawn from the world at large for a time. Writing is a very solitary venture; most writers need peace, quiet, and solitude to do it, and I'm no exception. Except I have a Himalayan cat that tends to think he wants to type on my keyboard and we have a little game we play where he puts his paws on my keyboard and I gently remove them. We go 'round and 'round. I can say without a doubt his is not helping me finish LOW:BA. But he's sure a cute distraction!
One of the most frequently asked questions I get is 'what are you working on?' Gaze into my crystal ball and let's divine the future....
Without giving too much away, let's just say I always have a veritable bevy of projects lined up - aka, the Pipeline - that are waiting to be completed. I have a habitual problem of starting novels that I don't complete right away. I'll get an idea , lay down about fifty pages to see if I can get a good 'feel' for the book, and then move it aside and do something else. Therefore, I currently have 31 novels that are in various stages of completion. What am I work on? Several things:
An 'aliens and knights' novel;
The next novel in The Titans series - Lord of Souls;
The next novel in the Kathlyn Trent/Marcus Burton series, 'House of Eternal Horizons';
A couple of Irish-based novels - one is a Time Travel, one is an Irish Medieval;
About six Medieval novels in various stages of completion (when I say Medieval, I mean hard core England Medieval - not Scots, nor Teutonic, nor Welsh);
The last two novels in the American Heroes series;
An entirely new contemporary series;
As you can see, there is…
